Chris Forbes: Father Christmas

GICF and The Stand Presents  Chris Forbes: Father Christmas Sunday 14th March Doors: 6:30pm Starts: 7:30pm

Christmas comes to Glasgow a wee bit late this year. Fresh from winning the inaugural McTavish Award at the 2026 Edinburgh Fringe, Scot Squad star Chris Forbes brings his hit show Father Christmas to the Glasgow International Comedy Festival.

Expect trees, tinsel and tragedy. A hilarious, heartfelt stand-up show about festive joy, family and the Christmas Day that changed everything. Blending big laughs with beautiful storytelling, this deeply personal hour is for anyone who loves, or hates, Christmas.

‘I laughed, I shed a tear, I loved Father Christmas’ ***** (North West End)

‘Utterly charming... beneath the belly laughs lies a remarkably vulnerable exploration of fatherhood’ ***** (EdFringeReview)

‘Stellar comedy with emotional heft’ **** (The Recs)
