<p>JACOTÉNÉ announces her first-ever headline tour of Australia this November, marking a majormilestone in a breakout year that's seen the Melbourne-born, London-based singer-songwriter landan ARIA nomination for Why'd You Do That? and a nomination for the ELLE Next Generation Awardfor Music.“This is a really full-circle moment for me,” says JACOTÉNÉ. “I get to bring the show I've beenbuilding overseas back to Australia and do it as my own headline run for the first time. I can't wait tobe in a room with everyone and sing these songs together.”JACOTÉNÉ's sound draws on soul, alt-R&B and jazz, shaped by a childhood spent singing in churchchoirs and the influence of artists like Lauryn Hill and Amy Winehouse. Backed by her band, this liveshow will carry a rawness and presence that studio recordings only hint at.
