In her fifth album Watersong, released under the ECM label, Savina Yannatou embarks on a musical exploration of water by way of song, together with Primavera en Salonico, whom she has been collaborating continuously for 32 years, and vocalist Lamia Bedioui from Tunisia. The songs performed in a variety of languages pass on traditions and myths about water in relation to life and death, to desire and purification, to fertility and magic. While the Arabic language and the Bedouin dialect intersect with the languages of Mediterranean Europe and elsewhere, and songs coming from many compass points and historical epochs intertwine, Primavera en Salonico creates a unique musical approach balancing the traditional aspect with playful arrangements and free improvisation. Multicultural in their musical passions, and daring in their stylistic juxtapositions, Savina Yannatou & Primavera en Salonico with Lamia Bedioui will be at Zorlu PSM Turkcell Platinum Stage on October 11. This event is subject to special rules. All participitants regardless of their age will be needing a ticket to attend the concert. Ticket holders below 18 years old, will need to be accompanied by their parents who are holding a ticket. Children of age under 6 are not allowed to the concert. No cameras or any type of recording devices are allowed into the event area. Selfie & GoPro sticks are not allowed on the festival grounds either. Keep your tickets during the event. The organization is not responsible for any valuables and loss. No pets are allowed in the event area. Please be adviced to purchase official merchandise sold at the venue. The organization reserves the right to use photographs and video recordings of the event goers in the promotion materials. Festivals goers agree to this automatically by attending the concert. Laser pen and/or equipment, flammable items, glass materials, sharp or pointed tools, licensed or not, fire arms and / or weapons, are strictly forbidden in the event area.
